Cognitive Behaviour Therapy an Introduction to core therapeutic skills
The therapist is shown working with a wide range of typical problems in twenty role-plays using CBT.
This film was developed as a result of the authors’ experience of teaching this approach to clinical psychologists, social workers and other disciplines. To demonstrate how CBT can be usefully applied to a variety of emotional and behavioural difficulties, the therapist is shown working with a wide range of typical problems in twenty role-plays. The film is designed to be part of a package of methods for teaching CBT and is ideally suited to form the framework for skills-training workshops.
This film is of historical interest and reflects the cultural attitudes, medical procedures and language of the time it was made. But the issues raised may be timeless.
