Description
This intermediate course is designed for students who already have some basic knowledge of  the Mandarin Chinese Language. This course focuses on learning through storytelling. This will be accomplished through several means.Firstly, as you progress through this course you will expand your Mandarin Chinese vocabulary through the systematic introduction of new words found in day-to-day conversation.Second, to improve your reading and listening skills, the instructor will provide clearly spoken words and phrases as they read through the course material. The student has the option to play back any section of the course as required until they feel ready to move on to the next level.Writing skills will be mastered through writing practice sheets that the student can download at any point in time as they progress through each section. Regular introduction of common Chinese Idioms is made throughout the course and serves a two-fold purpose. It teaches students how to express ideas concisely as well as provides an opportunity to practice newly learned material.Learning a language is a life-long journey however, it’s all about enjoying the learning process and being inspired along the way. It’s like reading a captivating novel where it left you thinking about life for days, months or even years.   That is the effect Chinese Language has on the people. Mandarin (Chinese)  has so much to offer thanks to its ancient history of four thousand years.
