Description
First and foremost, this course assumes you have no prior knowledge of chemistry. It is designed to build a strong foundation in the concepts of chemistry. Ideally for students needing to take a chemistry course in high school, college students needing a refresher before taking college chemistry, or adults who just want to refresh what they learned about chemistry but have forgotten. This course was designed around the General Chemistry curriculum that I spent three years teaching at a top US university. My teaching style and ability to relate technical content to students without “vomiting science” at students caused me to be sought by students who were struggling in chemistry for extra help and tutoring. I truly enjoy teaching chemistry and my passion for this subject shines throughout this course. Taking this course will help you stop worrying and love chemistry! There are multiple introductory classes out there, why take this one?Comprehensive Coverage: This curriculum covers all the essential topics of high school chemistry, providing a thorough foundation in the subject.Engaging and Interactive Content: This course employs a variety of multimedia resources, including videos, simulations, and interactive exercises, to make learning chemistry exciting and accessible. No Algebra Pre-Requisite! This course is primarily focused on the concepts rather than the “hard math”. Algebra 1 is not required for this course, only the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Dr. G explains all other math necessary as part of the course.Structured Learning Path: The curriculum is organized in a logical and sequential manner, ensuring a smooth progression of concepts and skills.Experienced Instructor: I have taught at multiple levels from elementary school through college, he understands the benefit of making tough scientific concepts accessible to students.Flexibility and Accessibility: Being an self-paced curriculum, it offers the flexibility to learn at one’s own pace, anytime and anywhere, making it an ideal choice for homeschooling or prepping for college chemistry.
