Hi, I’m Stephanie Barton-Farcas and I am an author (look my acting for the 21st century book up on Amazon, which helps you navigate acting in a digital world), and I am also a working actress for film, TV, stage and voiceover work. I also direct and produce and am a casting consultant for talent agents and for Disney/Nickelodeon. The post-covid entertainment world is a rapidly changing one, especially post pandemic, and I often get asked the same types of questions a lot. So I have made a series of 9 short videos to answer some of the basics, at least as the basics are right now going into the 2024-25 casting year.These nine videos cover everything from headshots to resumes, to demo reels and the art of self-taping. they deal with how to work on audition scenes in order to book the job. There is a special section on agents and managers and what and who they are and more importantly what they look for.
