A great deal of analysts and intelligence operators believe that the same skills can be used worldwide and while this is partially true there are specific skill sets and techniques that need to be applied to certain operational environments and different countries. These skills need to be learned based on a cultural, bureaucratic, and organizational understanding of an objective, such as Mexico. This course will this equip you with the essential skills, knowledge, and mindset to execute effective OSINT (and to a lower level GEOINT) gathering operations in Mexico. While OSINT is crucial in supporting operations across various fields including Law Enforcement, Military, Close Protection, Recruitment, Investigative Journalism, Corporate Development, Private Investigation, Surveillance, and Business Analytics it is always critical to understand different contexts and operational environments. In the case of Mexico, there are key elements one must understand prior to conducting a successful investigation. Some of these include:* Understanding the military and police organization and culture* Understanding the local criminal network and TTPs* Understanding the bureaucracy and how to exploit it* Understand how private corporations operate in MexicoThis course will also allow you to create actionable intelligence packages to asses and advice in real-world problems in Mexico or pertinent to foreign companies and individuals looking to operate in Mexico.
