How To Get Access To – And Connect With – Literally Anyone…have you ever wondered how to reach a “hard-to-access” person? Have you ever wanted to make friends with people that seemed “too successful” to connect with? Have you noticed that people who have “connections” to powerful people are more successful that people who don’t have relationships with “influencers?” You probably realize how important it is to know the “right people” – and have BUSINESS relationships with those right people – if you want to create business and financial success for yourself. It took me a long time to figure this out, personally. And it took me an even longer time to actually find successful people and make friends with them. But once I did find and connect with successful people, my entire life changed (and my own success increased and accelerated dramatically). And now, as I look back on my business career, I can see all of the different places where things would have gone so much BETTER – if only I had known the right people. Now, when I’m STARTING a business project, the first thing I do is ask myself “How do I CONNECT to the right people – so this is guaranteed to succeed?” You might be saying: “Sure, Eben – but you already have a successful business, so it’s easy for you to say that.” But it’s NOT easy for me – not much easier for me than it is for anyone else. Here’s why: When I start something new, it’s usually in an area that actually IS new to me. And this means I have to start from scratch. Before I built my online business, I worked in the real estate industry. I didn’t have all the “connections” to the people who could help me get traffic… build my website… make my products… etc. I had to find and meet the influential people in my new industry on my own. Another example: When I started TEACHING how to start and grow online businesses, I wasn’t friends with all the “top dogs” that taught this stuff. But I did make friends with them, and that was the KEY element to my success starting that business. Bottom line: I have to “cold call” successful people just like everyone else. Before we meet them, we’re all just “some other guy” or “some other woman” to the person we’re trying to reach… but the right introduction can make all the difference in the world.
