This course uses the concept of “thought distortions”, from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as a practical and useful tool to help students identify and address their own thought distortions, in order to attain a higher level of well-being. It does this after contextualizing the concept of happiness against the backdrop of many thinkers, of different schools of thought, about what happiness really is and how it can be attained.
