Our society appears fascinated with all things criminal. This is evidenced by the number of true crime podcasts and murder mystery shows, which are loved by thousands around the world. This has lead to the use of several “pop culture diagnoses”, including the misclassification of offenders as “psychopaths” and “sociopaths”.
In this course, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the differences in personality psychopathology that leads to criminal behavior and societal harm. Topics to be covered include:
