Description
This course is for Accordion beginners who learned some basics and now ready to move to the next level. It is designed for bigger size accordions: you will need at least a 60 bass accordion for this Advanced Beginner Course.Accordions come in all shapes and sizes; some have keys, some don’t. We call them differently: piano accordion, button accordion, acordeon, musette, fisarmonica, harmonika, bayan, garmonika, akkordeon, accordéon and even squeezebox. In this course you can learn both Piano Accordion and Chromatic Button Accordion B-System, another popular variation, but with buttons on both sides. Their Left Hand Keyboards (bass keyboards) are identical. Normally, you would concentrate just on one instrument, and only later will introduce another, if you have.In our lessons I will explain how to read accordion music scores, how to get good sound from your accordion, and how to practice. In case you don’t want to learn any music theory, you can play by ear – simply watch me playing accordion and repeat what I am doing. At this level it is quite possible. You may need to slow down the videos sometimes. In the music scores you will see the numbers – the fingering I am using.I can recommend this book for your studies:Palmer-Hughes Accordion Course, Book 2. Alfred Publishing Co. ISBN 10: 0-7390-0366-6(If you already can play simple songs, you wouldn’t need Book 1, just make sure to watch the Revision lecture. For total beginners I would highly recommend my Udemy course “Accordion for Complete Beginners. BOOK 1”)After this course you may continue with more difficult stuff of the same Palmer-Hughes series – they have at least another 9 books. Book 10, for example, is of a very Advanced level. I have played all the songs from this series and in fact, recorded almost all of them on YouTube. My channel’s name is Yuri Char. So if you want to listen to any of those songs – how they sound, whether you like them or not – welcome to my YouTube channel! Feel free to browse another 600 educational videos, and not only about accordion! You might find the book in your local music shop or, more likely – online. But before your book arrives, you can follow this course on your computer screen. So you can push that ‘ENROLL’ button right NOW and start playing today! It will take between 4 to 8 months to complete this course. That will depend on the amount of time you can dedicate for your accordion studies. If you are already feeling quite motivated, let’s begin right Now! Watch carefully: how I am playing, how I am using the Bellows, which fingers I am using. And remember that we Study by Doing, so don’t just watch, grab your instrument and Shine On! Learning should be fun!Try to practice regularly, and perfect each song before you move to the next one. We will take it slow, no worries – you can study at your own pace. Think a bit…And lastly, remember, it’s safe. With a 30-day money back guarantee there’s no risk.I see you soon inside the course! My name is Yuri. I am a professional musician, accordion player, music tutor.
