Basics of Digital ElectronicsTruth table
Description
Before you begin with this course, I would suggest you revise k-12 digital electronics especially AND gate, OR gate, and De-Morgan’s Theorem. You will appreciate the importance of the K-map in this course. K-map helps to solve a complex circuit and gives a simplified canonical equation. When we have more variables and logic gates, the circuit gets more complicated, and solving the same becomes a longer process using basic digital electronics. Using the K-map and the truth table, the number of steps reduces significantly. But we need to follow certain rules for that. In this course, we discuss some possible combinations and rules to solve the k-map for a 3 and 4 variable system.
The lecture series is divided into two sections.
Section 1: In this section, we are going to learn about the importance of using K-map and how it helps us to solve a complex circuit to give the minimized form the canonical equation.
Section 2: In this section, we take up some examples and understand the rules we need to know to solve some complex k-map.
At the end of this lecture series, you will be well acquainted with the Karnaugh Map.
So what are you waiting for… Get enrolled and let’s get started.
