Description
This course has two primary aims. The first is to show you how to become a great local guide. Among other things, we’ll learn about the key characteristics of a good guide, how to prepare an interesting and engaging tour, how to speak in public, how to attract the attention of tourists and how to deal with some of the unexpected events that may occur on your tours.Another equally important goal of this course is to show you how to become a successful entrepreneur, truly your own boss.I’ll show you a new approach to this. Up until now, most guides have been totally dependent on travel agencies, more like contractors who get the jobs they don’t really choose, rather than independent freelancers who control how and with whom they work. My aim is to show you how to be a guide working by your own rules. We’ll discuss how to get bookings, how to market your tours and how to grow as a guide to earn more and more money. I’ll be telling you all these things in a very consistent and direct way, without any unnecessary comments and elaborated speeches. Just a pure knowledge and inside tips. I really hope you’ll like my style.
