The internet has become one of the most important components of our life. We browse the web, check e-mails, make VoIP phone calls, and have video conferences via computers. All of these applications are made possible by networking computers together. A system of interconnected computers and computerized peripherals is called computer network.
This course gives the detail instructions about the computer communication and networking hands on experience by configuring various devices in Cisco packet tracer.
Cisco packet tracer is an open source tool available which is easy to operate and have numerous features to configure real time environment.
The course is arranged as follows:
Introduction to Packet Tracer
Introduction to Networking Devices
Server Simulations:
1) Simulation of a network consisting of PCs connected to HTTP servers
2) Simulation of a network consisting of PCs connected to DNS servers
3) Simulation of a network consisting of PCs connected to FTP server and configuring the server for a given user id and password
4) Simulation of a network consisting of PCs connected to DHCP server and assigning IP addresses to all the devices in the network through DHCP
5) Simulation of a network consisting of PCs connected to an Email server and send email to other devices in the network
Router Simulations
6) Configuration of ROUTER through Command Line Interface.
