Learn and practice the tools and techniques of project management in a simulated environment
What you’ll learn:
How to plan monitor and control projects
How to use the tools and techniques of project management
How to take uncertainty into account and how to apply risk management while planning monitoring and controlling projects
How to integrate different knowledge areas such as scheduling, resource management, cost management and risk management in a dynamic risky environment
Requirements:
This is a course for beginners no prior knowledge of project management is required
Description:
Simulation-based training (SBT) is an educational method that uses interactive, immersive simulations to teach skills, concepts, and behaviors in a realistic and controlled environment. This approach leverages technology to recreate real-world scenarios, allowing learners to practice and hone their abilities without the risks or consequences associated with real-life situations. In this course you will learn how to plan, execute and monitor a project in a simulated – safe environment. In this environment you will learn from your own mistakes without having to pay any price for those mistakes. Furthermore using simulation Based Training you will be on a learning curve getting better and better in using the tools and techniques of project management as you manage different projects starting with very similar projects and eventually simulating your own future or past projects. The tools and techniques of project management are built into the simulator and used on the simulated projects to plan monitor and control these projects successfully. Starting with the simplest tools like a Gantt chart and moving to cost management tools, resource management tools and risk management tools including advanced tools like Monte Carlo simulation and Multi mode project planning under uncertainty. This course explains not only how to use these tools but also how to integrate the different knowledge areas of project management into on complete picture.
Who this course is for:
Project managers and their team members
Anyone who want to learn the terminology, tools and techniques of project management and practice it all on a simulator
