What are the requirements?
Students need to have comfortable ‘work out’ gear to wear and a large, clear space to practice. Punch bags or focus pads are only necessary once the techniques have been understood

Section 1: Section 0: Introduction

Lecture 2 Finding and moving in the correct MMA stance 05:12
We’ll start by looking at how to find the correct MMA Stance. We’ll explain the benefits of the MMA Stance for attack, defence and wrestling as well as the importance of hand position. Finally, we’ll show how to practice the MMA stance to generate power and move without risking balance
Section 3: Punches
Lecture 3 Punching in MMA with the Jab 04:09
We’ll look at what is a jab, why to use it and how to use it in a fight. We’ll demonstrate the correct jab technique, how to perfect it with practice and how to develop more power and use the jab with movement
Lecture 4 Punching in MMA with the Cross 04:24
We’ll cover the cross and how it differs from a jab, why to use it and how to use it in a fight. We’ll demonstrate the correct cross technique, how to perfect it with practice and how to develop more power and use the cross with movement.

Section 8: Wrestling Defence

Now you know how to take an opponent to the floor you need to know how to defend against those techniques. In this lecture we’ll cover sprawling and how to avoid letting your opponent take control of your hips and ensure you maintain a dominant position

Section 9: Groundwork
Lecture 20 The Half Guard (from Sit and Sweep) in MMA 03:41
